What we do

Odoo ERP services, end to end

From the first process workshop to the quarterly optimisation review — one team accountable for the whole lifecycle of your ERP.

Custom Odoo Module Development

Purpose-built modules written against the Odoo ORM — clean inheritance, upgrade-safe code and no core edits, so your next version bump stays painless.

Odoo Implementation & Rollout

Discovery, configuration, data migration, UAT and go-live. We map your real processes to Odoo first, then configure — not the other way round.

Version Migration & Upgrades

Move from Odoo 12–16 to the latest release with your customisations refactored, data reconciled and a rehearsed cut-over plan.

Third-Party Integrations

Bank feeds, payment gateways, couriers, marketplaces, e-signature, WhatsApp and legacy systems wired in over REST, XML-RPC and webhooks.

BI, Reporting & Dashboards

QWeb and spreadsheet reporting, PostgreSQL-tuned views and management dashboards that answer questions instead of exporting rows.

Hosting, DevOps & Monitoring

Dockerised deployments, staged environments, automated nightly backups, restore drills and uptime monitoring on your infrastructure or ours.

Mobile & Portal Experiences

Customer portals and field-team mobile flows built on the Odoo backend, so warehouse, delivery and sales staff work from one dataset.

Managed Support & Optimisation

A named engineering contact, tracked SLAs and a quarterly optimisation review that keeps the system fast as your data grows.

About Odooly

We fix the process first, then configure the software

Most failed ERP projects are not technical failures. They are the result of software being configured around an undocumented process nobody agreed on. So we start with your workflow on a whiteboard, name the bottlenecks, and only then decide what Odoo should do about them.

We work from our office at 167-169 Great Portland Street, 5th Floor, London W1W 5PF, serving clients across the United Kingdom and internationally.

  • Standard Odoo before custom codeWe will actively talk you out of custom development where a standard app already does the job.
  • You own the codeEvery module lives in your repository, documented, with no lock-in to us.
  • Fixed scope per phaseWritten scope and price before each phase starts, so budget surprises do not happen.
  • One accountable teamThe engineers who build your system are the engineers who support it.

How we deliver

A delivery method you can hold us to

Four phases, each with a written deliverable and your sign-off before the next one starts.

STEP 01

Discover

We run structured workshops with the people who actually do the work, then document your process map, gaps and success measures before a line of code is written.

STEP 02

Architect

You get a written solution design: which standard Odoo apps cover what, where custom modules are genuinely justified, the data model, and the integration contracts.

STEP 03

Build & Test

Two-week sprints in a staging environment, code reviewed against Odoo guidelines, with your team signing off each increment via UAT scripts.

STEP 04

Go Live & Grow

A rehearsed cut-over with rollback, on-site or remote hypercare for the first cycle, then a support plan and quarterly optimisation reviews.

Engineering leadership

A message from our CTO

The engineering standards on this page are not marketing copy — they are enforced in code review.

An ERP is not a software purchase. It is the operating system of your company — and it should be engineered with that much respect.

I have led engineering at Odooly since 1 February 2017, and in the nine years since, the most consistent lesson has been this: the projects that succeed are the ones where we were honest early. Honest about what standard Odoo already does well. Honest about which requirement is a genuine business need and which is an old habit inherited from a spreadsheet. Honest about what a deadline really costs.

That honesty is why my team is measured on more than shipping features. Every module we write is reviewed against Odoo's own development guidelines. We extend through inheritance instead of editing core files, because the version upgrade you will face in two years is a cost we are deciding today. We keep customisations in versioned modules in your repository, so nothing we build can hold you hostage to us.

We are equally deliberate about what happens after go-live. Backups are tested by actually restoring them. Performance is profiled against your growing dataset, not a demo database. Security patches are applied on a schedule, not when something breaks. When a ticket comes in at 3am, the target is a human response within the hour — and on our Enterprise plan, an escalation path that reaches my desk directly.

If you are evaluating Odoo, ask us hard questions. Ask what we would refuse to build and why. Ask to see how we would structure your data model before you pay for a line of code. The answers should tell you more than any brochure — and if we are the right partner, you will know it from that first conversation.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

The things prospective clients ask us most often, answered directly.

How much does an Odoo implementation with Odooly cost?

Scope drives cost, so we quote after a short discovery call rather than from a price list. A focused single-department rollout is materially cheaper than a multi-entity, multi-warehouse deployment with integrations. You receive a written scope with a fixed price per phase before any work begins, plus a support plan from $200 per month once you are live.

Which Odoo versions do you work with?

We build on the current long-term-support release and actively maintain systems from Odoo 12 onwards. We handle both Odoo Community and Enterprise editions, and we will tell you plainly when a standard Enterprise app removes the need for custom work.

Will custom development break my future Odoo upgrades?

That is exactly what our engineering standards are designed to prevent. We extend through inheritance rather than editing core files, keep customisations in versioned modules, and review every change against Odoo guidelines — so upgrades stay a planned task instead of a rebuild.

How long does a migration to a newer Odoo version take?

A straightforward migration with light customisation typically runs three to six weeks including testing. Heavily customised systems take longer because each module is refactored and each data set reconciled. We always rehearse the cut-over on a staging copy of your live database first.

Do you offer support after go-live?

Yes. Every project can continue on a Standard, Professional or Enterprise support plan with 24/7 ticket coverage and a one-hour first-response target, reachable over Zoom, Skype and WhatsApp. Professional and Enterprise plans include a named engineering contact.

Can you work with our in-house developers?

Frequently. We can lead delivery, co-develop alongside your team, or act purely as an architecture and code-review partner. In every model you keep full ownership of the source code and the repository.
